Johnny Botts - colorful sci-fi "like" images which should appeal to all ages

Katie has a wicked sense of humor and it comes through in her etched art.

All that art always makes me hungry so thank
goodness for reservations! Ours were at Zero Zero, a hoppin' and trendy new pizza place complete with a wood burning oven and lots of enticing choices. The name itself is a take on the flour - imported from Italy - that is used for the thin crust pizzas I adore. While I liked this place and the pizza, my companion would have preferred an atmosphere with a little more character. Frankly I was so obsessed with the idea of "soft serve" for dessert I could have been in the desert!

• Starter: braised pork, chanterelle mushroom, fried polenta, slow cooked egg, and pickled peppers (loved the texture on the fried polenta - crispy but still soft in the middle)
• Pizza: margherita extra - basic sauce and buffalo mozzarella and parmesan on a killer crust
• Dessert: Straus soft serve with your choice of toppings - yum!
If you want to taste really good pizza, I think you must visit at least once. Ok, maybe more than just once!
