Funfeasts is about enjoying and exploring life - through food. It's an attempt to chronicle my feasts of fun and the many tasty bites experienced along the way.

MOD superfast Pizza is super good (Seattle WA)

It seems that a pizza chain is bubbling in the Pacific Northwest called MOD superfast Pizza - MOD stands for "made on demand" - and references a bevvy of  toppings on signature dough and sauce made fresh daily.   The pizza crust is a light thin variation with just the right amount of sauce, cheese and your choice of toppings.  All pizzas are the same size and same price no matter which toppings you select:  $5.88.

Choose from the Calexico ("it's hot") which is mozzarella, gorgonzola, chicken, HOT buffalo sauce and jalapenos or the Lucy Sunshine:  mozzarella, parmesan, artichokes, garlic w/dollops of the house signature red sauce.   Note that these are just two of the many variations available, on demand of course.

Along with pizza there is a selection of salads and "something sweet" (varies by location.)  Something sweet on the day of our visit included a foil-wrapped ding dong from the large display beside the cash register.  Although tempting, I considered my $5.88 lunch very sweet - and tasty - indeed!
